Making Failure Work.

Traditional talent development events are a pie in the face.
A unique interactive workshop where teams explore the clown within and learn to harness its silliness, freedom, and vulnerability to:
Sessions are composed of a series of clown exercises — short, high-stakes scenarios that emphasize presence and human fallibility, as opposed to cleverness, for problem solving, connection, and discovery.
A trained facilitator live coaches participants through these sequences, creating safe yet exposing moments to familiarize teams with the feeling of failure and ultimately teach people how to let go of those fears and take bigger risks.
I am a writer and performer who moved to the U.S. as a child to fulfill every immigrant parent’s dream of having their son become a clown.
After working in the writers’ room at The Late Late Show with James Corden, I attended the world-renowned clown school École Philippe Gaulier in France where I studied the art of clown and play.
Since discovering how clown can revolutionize work, creativity, and everyday life, I have worked with leading organizations helping teams unlock creativity by encouraging failure, risk-taking, and vulnerability.
My favorite part of teaching clown is watching people let go of self-consciousness, embrace silliness, and rediscover the joy of playing like a child.

“One of the most compelling, exposing, and vulnerable workshops I’ve ever taken.”
Google X“Tufan is like a career coach disguised as a clown. He drops nuggets of wisdom at the most unlikely moments and lands the lesson every time.”
Google X“It went above and beyond my expectations. Employees I expected to be quiet joined in and were laughing and having a great time. It was awesome to experience Tufan’s patience and awareness for others’ actions, and I truly believe many employees stepped away with new skills.”
